All you need to know about American roulette

Like poker and blackjack, American roulette is a game played on a unique green table. And as with other roulette games, a player stakes chips on the table.

The roulette wheel and table in other roulette games have 37 slots: 18 red digits and 18 black digits, as well as a zero box (0). However, on American roulette and its game table, there are 38 squares. There is an additional zero box (00). As a result, the house advantage is slightly higher, as all the players’ bets return to the casino if the ball stops on a zero square.

In American roulette, you bet chips on the spaces on the game table; in a physical casino, you use plastic chips while at Carousel, you move virtual chips with your finger or mouse.

A ball is then thrown into the activated roulette wheel. If the ball lands on a number or a sequence of numbers matching your bet, you win a certain amount. Each type of bet has its own probability of winning and payout. Then a new round begins and you can place a new bet of your choice.
